DescriptionRub out to reveal activities for the interactive whiteboard: these are a great way of encouraging pupil use of the target language through guessing what is said.

ObjectivePupil use of the target language - good for a starter activity

AssessmentBy outcome (oral activity)

HintsUse the rubber on your board to rub out the text bit by bit in the speech or thought bubbles (the text is covered up with white pen). The same activity can be downloaded in Smartboard Notebook, ActivStudio 2 and Easiteach, so should be suitable for any interactive whiteboard

TRE comment An adaptable idea - A lovely idea for using the interactive whiteboard. The teacher could reveal some of the words for those students who are less confident, as well as encouraging more able students to create their own thought bubbles for other students to guess.
