DescriptionThe second of a set of activities based around the Key Stage 1 Topic "Growing Plants".
 
ObjectiveIt is intended to help your pupils find out, for example, if they can identify different parts of a plant, if they can identify vegetables and fruits, and if they can identify the stages of a plant's life cycle.

See National Curriculum KS1 Sci2, Life and Living Things, Green Plants and Curriculum Guidance for the Foundation Stage, KUW, Early Learning Goal for Exploration and Investigation, 'Find out about, and identify, some features of living things, objects and events they observe'.
 
AssessmentThe exercises are of a simple click, drag & drop style and keyboard input, where there is immediate visual and auditory feedback but no scoring.
 
Prior KnowledgePre-requisite knowledge/skills/understanding: Basic mouse control and keyboard skills, and classroom work on growing plants.

(29 Jan 05) 		TRE comment Growing Plants 2 - More delightful and useful resources to reinforce practical work in this area. Even though designed with KS1 in mind, at least 3 out of the 5 activities are eminently suitable for use with Foundation Stage pupils and the other 2 could be considered as potential extension activites.
