DescriptionHere are a range of materials that can be used in studying this novel. They cover a range of areas, including:

- character
- writing about memories
- informative writing
- writing a formal letter
- writing about theme and the title of the novel.

They are designed for use with a Year 8 class.

Some are Word documents and some are Publisher files.
 
ObjectiveTo enhance understanding of and engagement with the novel.

(24 Dec 06) 		TRE comment Sound and helpful resources - Many thanks to Mandy for providing a rich array of really useful materials. Many of them are related, so look out for the links before you use one of them.

As well as providing helpful tasks, Mandy also provides some helpful examples of modelling, for example for 'PEE'.

Some of them (for instance, the letter outline) are generic and so can be easily used in other schemes of work.

Thanks again for such a helpful set of materials.
